The warranty industry is evolving fast, and AI is at the center of it. In the latest Warranty Week article, our CEO, Ashok Kartham, and John Estrada, President of Xcelerator Group, share their perspectives on how artificial intelligence is reshaping warranty operations. With decades of combined experience building and running warranty systems, both leaders bring a practical lens to what AI can realistically do today.

One of the biggest themes: legacy systems, built primarily for data entry and transaction processing, can no longer keep up with today’s complexity. As he notes, “Traditional systems, or even the ones that we did before, were built for data collection and processing, not for intelligent decision making.” 

That’s where AI comes in. As Ashok explains, “AI can understand the data, and provide insights that the current systems cannot provide."

  • Automate repetitive decisions in claim adjudication and parts recommendations.
